Our Structure

LERC is a Public Sector Unit and a unique unified initiative of the three Public Sector Oil Companies in India. Hence LERC management is intrinsically integrated to the management of IndianOil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) and other National Bodies relevant to the LPG Industry in the country.

The General Body of LERC comprises of the Director (Marketing) of IndianOil Corporation Limited, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited.

The Governing Body of LERC comprises of the Director (Marketing) IOCL, Director (Marketing)BPCL and Director (Marketing) HPCL, Director (R&D) IOCL, Executive Director (LPG) IOCL and representatives from external agencies such as Indian Institute of Petroleum Dehradun, Petroleum Conservation and Research Association (PCRA), Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR) and Petrofed. The Chairman of Governing Body is Director (Marketing) IOCL at present.
The Executive Committee of LERC is constituted of Executive Director (LPG) IOCL, Executive Director(LPG) BPCL, Executive Director (LPG) HPCL, Chief Controller of Explosives (CCOE), senior officer from IOCL, BPCL & HPCL and representatives from Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), PCRA and Petrofed. The Chairman of the Executive Committee is Executive Director (LPG) IOCL.

LERC is headed by Chief Executive Officer on deputation from IOCL and is fully staffed with officers on deputation from IOCL, BPCL & HPCL.
